It’s summer, so I’ve been terribly derelict in my blogging duties. That said, we’re rounding the corner, and I’m excited to get back into a routine (the whole family is). That’s just the way my family thrives.
So, to jump start that “routine” mindset, I’ve decided to present a recipe, along with its source, every Monday. I don’t know about you, but on Monday’s, I need all the nudges, hacks, and breaks I can get.
Sometimes it will be MY recipe, sometimes it will come from elsewhere, but always something I’ve tried.
Who doesn’t love PEAS? Especially when presented alongside this adorable, retro graphic from Good Housekeeping of yore (scroll past the Giant to get to the good one.)?!
Here’s a yummy side dish to serve with a very basic main dish–be it deli sandwiches, on top of a chicken salad, or with a veggie burger:
Side note: this recipe calls for Lemon Vitality oil–and that certainly provide the most flavor per drop–but you could certainly use 2-3 Tbsp. lemon juice concentrate from the store, which I have also done!
Romeo’s been on #SummerVacation for less than 5 hours, and he’s already turned our home into a #RecCenter, complete with posted directions. I had no idea our pool was an aquatic center 😆. Pardon me while I crank some Alice, y’all…
When you’re going on 8 years with a set of rings, and you can no longer wear Engagement and Wedding together–as you’ve reached the point of Angelus Maximus–it’s time to give up the ghost, and resize the set.
A posted a fóto of these beauties several days ago, and they’re still going strong! My secret? Purification oil.
Not only does it smell amazing, keep warm weather biting critters at bay, and purify the air and surfaces, yes, it helps sustain cut flowers, as well.
I’m constantly amazed what these little bottles of plant juice have done and continue to do for my family. But Purification and Thieves? They rank right at the top, because they are the safest way to keep the our home–furniture, carpet, dishes, laundry, even teeth and flowers (!) so fresh and so clean-clean 😁.
This graphic of ways to get the toxins out of Spring Cleaning this years? Totes amazeballs. And, there’s even more where that comes from…
