Oils: Learn

The Most Important Thing:

If you are my oily friend, you can ask me anything. I want to help you.

You know that saying, “There are no stupid questions?” Well, it’s true. We’re all learning all the time. I know so much more than I did when I began down this road, and of course, there’s still plenty to learn, as we’re constantly gaining new knowledge and insights from studies about plants, oils, our bodies and brains, and health.

Now, the 2nd Most Important Thing:

*I’m not a doctor, don’t claim to be, and believe that oils are for supporting health–not curing illnesses or diseases, and I’ll make no such claims.*

With that in mind, below are some of my go-to links for oily suggestions. Some are more scientifically based, others based on traditional usage or personal anecdotes.

Personally, I like to see all of the above types of knowledge and advice for a more well-rounded perspective! Will add more sites and articles as I see them come around the pike.

Dr. Haggerton’s Videos : Start here if you’re more of a audio or visual learner.

Experience Essential Oils : A thorough investigation and explanation of YL’s oils, based on trthaditional usage, some studies cited.

PubMed, US National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health: Abstracts and case studies galore!

Life Science Publishing : an excellent site to purchase literature and more. The Essential Oil Pocket Reference is to die for!

And, of course, I hit Young Living several times a week for news, events, oily recipes, food recipes, and contributor blog posts and vids!
